Stop Puppy Mills
We are currently joining the fight to stop Puppy Mills! We will be adding information to our site that will help fight against this horrible truth. This will include information and links to expose these horrific mills and educate the public as to what really goes on in these mills. It will also include letters that you can print and send to the AKC, along with other ways you can help. This is our companies mission. Please see our about us page. We need all the help we can get. Every letter counts, every word, each and every person CAN make a difference. We owe this not only to these animals, but to God as well, as we are hurting his precious gifts to us.
If you are currently involved in this fight and would like to join forces with The Pink Hotdog, please send us us any links and/or information you feel can benefit this fight to nopuppymills@pinkhotdog.com.
For the Love of Pink...
The current popularity of pink was a long time in coming. During the 90s, the grunge movement affected fashion, causing a backlash against fashions and colors labeled "cute," "pretty," or "girly." The trend was for minimalist, industrial fashion. But as minimalism burned itself out, a resurgence of luxury and pretty, feminine clothes swept across the fashion world. This trend has become so established that it can hardly be labeled a trend anymore; for several years, pink has been the "new black," the go-anywhere, with-anything color of choice. Pink is not only a symbol of femininity, it is also a color of hope and positive attitude, which is why it continues to be popular today.
No wardrobe for you or your favorite pet is complete without something pink. Fashions should reflect current trends in clothing and accessories, and nothing is hotter right now than pink. Pink is the very definition of cute, the color of choice for fashion. Its for savvy women who know how to play up the advantages of being a girl! Pink is the ultimate in girlish luxury. It screams femininity, a girly-girl, a lady who shops, a pampered princess?

We have several customers who dress themselves and their dogs all in pink, all the time!
